An old farmhouse located 300 metres above sea level, on the top of a hillock with a magnificent view of the Cilento hills, surrounded by splendid, ancient olive groves, the Capocanto Agritourism is the most suitable setting for a new and original holiday that offers, in addition to all the opportunities of a 'traditional' holiday, those of a 'green holiday'. In fact, the Agriturismo Capocanto is an organic farm (ICEA certified), created from the careful renovation of an old farmhouse set in a smallholding in the heart of the Cilento National Park. The beautiful and renowned beaches of Marina di Camerota are 4 km from the agritourism, and are easily reached by car in about 5 minutes. These include the famous beaches of Cala Bianca and Baia degli Infreschi, which were awarded the title of Italy's most beautiful beach, one in 2015 and the other in 2016. Palinuro, with its renowned natural beauty and exciting nightlife, can also be reached in less than 10 minutes. At Agriturismo Capocanto, guests are accommodated in comfortable rooms created from the renovation of an old farmhouse dating back to the late 19th century. The terracotta floors, upholstery and furnishings make the rooms warm and welcoming, with modernly equipped bathrooms. Each room has a TV, mini fridge, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and fan. The rooms are very spacious and there is the possibility of adding a cot. Two large communal terraces, with a view of the ancient village of Camerota, offer the possibility of relaxing in the sun on the special deckchairs and also a pleasant and peaceful rest in the cool evening hours, enjoying the wonderful view of the Cilento landscapes.
