We are in Albinea, among the vineyards of the reggiano region, with seven welcoming rooms in a historic farmhouse lovingly attended to in every detail. Television deliberately doesn't exist here: the idea is to truly disconnect. The rooms overlook the countryside, some are spacious attic rooms with views over the rows of vines. The silence is complete, and if you're lucky you'll see roe deer wandering through the vineyards.
Breakfast is homemade, not an anonymous buffet. Maicol and his family manage everything personally: you'll find kind and attentive people, not a standardized staff. The location is convenient for visiting the area's historic car museums, but the real point is to stay here, in the countryside, without rushing.
