THE COTTAGE We are pleased to put at your disposal the charming cottage, composed of a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with wood-burning oven, a bathroom equipped for disabled persons, two bedrooms and a wooden loft. NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH US Barbugli, the Locanda degli Elfi is a small family-run agriturismo overlooking the hills of Bettola, which offers rooms with bed & breakfast service and a hostel (for groups, the younger guests and sports enthusiasts), an organic farm and a small animal breeding facility. At an altitude of 750 m., in the delightful and panoramic stone village, surrounded by magical woods and green meadows, you can savour a warm hospitality, respectful of rural tradition, immersing yourself in the dream of a wild and unspoilt nature. The rustic and welcoming atmosphere of the ancient farmhouses will transport you, as if by magic, into graceful and fairy-tale settings. The air we breathe is fresh and clean, also thanks to the vast woods surrounding us, where absolute peace and silence are broken only by the music of the wind, the singing of birds and the squeaking of squirrels.
We cultivate with joy our organic vegetable garden, we take the goats that give us their fresh milk to pasture, we collect mushrooms and seasonal fruit (with which we prepare tasty preserves, a treat for your palate. At the disposal of guests a music room full of instruments to express musical creativity). Our little horses are friendly and tame. They love to be in company and to taste fresh carrots from your hands. It is said that the Barbugli were small elves that lived in this enchanted land. Participate with your children in the animated fairy tales that we perform in the woods and relive with us the ancient legend.
We are located on the Piacentine hills, near the town of Bettola, at an altitude of 750 m. above sea level. Places of artistic and cultural interest in the vicinity: Velleja Romana (10 km), Castell'Arquato (30 km), Bobbio (30 km) Grazzano Visconti (20 km) Bardi (30 km). The Provincial Park is located approximately 8 km away. Possible excursions on foot, by bike and by car. Possibility of agreements with nearby riding stables for equestrian courses.
