A farm holiday and agricultural-wine-growing estate, situated at an altitude of 300 metres on the green hills of Monteveglio, in an area overlooking the vast Samoggia Valley – a hilly region on the border between the provinces of Bologna and Modena, from which it is approximately 25 km away. The restaurant at the Casa Fonsi agritourism farm seats 65 guests. The cuisine is based on the traditional Emilian culinary traditions of the hills around Bologna. Specifically, you can enjoy fried crescentine and tigelle, chicken, rabbit and goose alla cacciatora, friggione, polenta, beans with pork rinds, pasta and beans, straccioni, tagliatelle, tortelloni, tortellini in broth, zuccotti, lasagne, gnocchi, roasts, and grilled meat and vegetables. Agriturismo Casa Fonsi also features a charming gazebo and a spacious outdoor terrace where you can enjoy our dishes al fresco whilst taking in the relaxing surrounding views. Three double rooms with en-suite bathrooms are available, offering guests the chance to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing night’s stay in a comfortable setting with a warm, family atmosphere. Our rooms are very cosy and well-maintained, and are equipped with a TV. One room is equipped with facilities for guests with disabilities and is therefore easily accessible.
