A few years ago Alice and Daniele fell in love with this place and bought what was at the time little more than a ruin. They then renovated and transformed it into an informal yet exclusive Country House with a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and a friendly welcome offering top quality service. In line with the splendid tradition of real country holidays (“agriturismo”) in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany, the Lodole Country House is private and comfortable. The rooms are all immaculately furnished in traditional style. Great care has been taken over details and each room has its own colour, décor, and name. The layout of the rooms is designed to reflect different moments and elements in the day, hence the names, Dawn, Sun, Sky, Dusk, Star, Moon and the Dépandance. The Bologna Molino del Pero Golf Club offers a technical 18-hole course, par 70 course that stretches for over 5,450 metres at 300 MASL and overlooked by Lodole Country House at the third hole.
In addition to its fantastic open air swimming pool and solarium buried in the luscious greenery of the Bologna Apennines, guests can also enjoy golf at the Molino del Pero Golf Club, horseriding at nearby stables, mountain bike rides (with bikes provided by the Lodole Country House) and endless enchanting nature treks and trails. There are also numerous places of interest to visit, like the old water mills in the Savena Valley, the Etruscan museums and archaeological sites at Monte Bibele and Marzabotto, and local farms in which to sample and purchase local produce.
