The farm has 12 comfortable double rooms all with private bathrooms. Several have a sofa bed for children or extra guests. All the rooms have been recently refurbished maintaining the original features of the old building and there are some pleasant areas outside where you can relax looking out over the green hillside. The farms restaurant is well known for its genuine good quality food which is served with the farm’s own wine.

Surroundings (Monteveglio)

Monteveglio offers in the center of the medieval village the abbey, founded by Matilda of Canossa, with the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Romanesque style, erected between the eleventh and twelfth centuries, with a crypt with four naves and three altars. Bazzano 4 km.: on the hilltop dominates the beautiful fortress of the eleventh century, later rebuilt by Giovanni Bentivoglio in the 15th century. Beside it is the church of Santo Stefano from the eighth century, where inside you can admire valuable works of art from the Bolognese school of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Bologna 20 km.: it is the capital of the Emilia Romagna region and a communication hub of great importance. The Etruscan Felsina, the Bononia of the Romans is situated on flat ground on the Via Emilia at the foot of the first foothills of the Apennine. It has a circular layout with the main streets in a radial pattern; the portico, the warm color of the brick and sandstone of its monumental buildings give it a particular warmth.
