Today's agritourism farm has been an old home of the farming family that managed herd animals since the last century. Such is therefore its name, 'Alla Vecchia Mandria', a farmhouse-agritourism farmhouse where it stands, in the same ridge location in Formia. It is a unique and unrepeatable expression of the centuries-old farming tradition in the surroundings of Itri, Sperlonga, Gaeta, Terracina, and a short distance from the sea: (Formia 3Km, Gaeta 5Km, Sperlonga 21 Km, Terracina 35). In addition to the land cultivated with olive groves, spices, vegetable garden and arable land for the production of oil, olives, flowers, plants, the surrounding space is dedicated to nature for wonderful excursions (100% natural). Our family has been working the land where we are located for almost 100 years, for the last 20, Sergio and Anna Maria, specialising in the production of fruit, ornamental, aromatic and olive plants, have inherited and preserved the old tradition and care from their ancestors. "La Vecchia Mandria", once used for sheltering livestock, is now restored and offered to our guests to share in the well-being of our traditions, our tranquillity and our hospitality. In the area of Lower Lazio between Formia, Gaeta, Itri, Sperlonga is located our agritourism which, in addition to taking care of the olive grove, produces fruit and ornamental plants, or rather flowering plants, as well as aromatic types such as rosemary, sage, etc. From our olive grove we produce cooking olives, table olives and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, just as in the past, two wheels crushing the olive tree to form a paste that after being pressed for several hours produces an excellent oil. Our production of ornamental and aromatic plants that bloom in the greenhouses bring happiness to anyone who looks at them and with their colourful flowers form rainbows of every colour that fill the heart with joy. The landscape, a natural beauty surrounded by the Agriturismo, offers a vast panoramic area for excursions with a view of the Gulf of Gaeta.
