The 9 Muse (“nine muses”) bed and breakfast is in Canneto sull’Oglio (Mantova), a privileged and strategic location: within the green landscapes of the parco Oglio sud (south Oglio river park), this is an excellent starting point to visit towns and cities rich in art, as well as to reach and enjoy natural sites and leisure parks. Created in a country home originally built at the beginning of the 20th century, now carefully restored, this bed and breakfast delights its guests with a family atmosphere, surrounding them with the cosy feeling of brickwork, stone, timber. In addition:- free parking next to the house- no time restrictions fo ight re-entry- information packs and tourist information, about Mantova and areas nearby, available for our guests- special arrangements in co-operation with local inns and restaurants. 9 Muse bed and breakfast has been set up in co-operation with Gal, group of local action Oglio-Po terre d’acqua, and this project has been co-financed by the European Union, is signalled in the Albergabici of the italian friends federation of the bike circuit. All payments are accepted in cash only.

Double rooms are available, located on a separate floor. Each one has comfortable wooden framed beds with orthopaedic mattresses, bathroom with shower, private terrace, television set, and independent and adjustable air conditioning and heating. Each room has the name of a Muse, with original furniture of the past century and paintings from major contemporary artists.

Breakfast

The breakfast, which is varied and generous, includes brioches, rusks, milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea and yoghurt, as well as cakes, biscuits and home-made jams. A microwave oven and a refrigerator are available for our guests. Special care is devoted to the preparation of the breakfast for our guests suffering from coeliac disease: 9 Muse is part of the “While not eating at home” project sponsored by the Italian Association for Coeliac disease (AIC).
