La Ginestra was born from a dream of the Rosa family, who in 1999, driven by their love for Molise, for its natural, cultural and culinary beauties, opened the agriturismo. Immediately successful, both for the genuineness of the products and for the warmth, hospitality and friendliness of the whole family, in 2008 they added accommodation to the restaurant business with L'Oasi della Ginestra, a stone farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s, renovated while maintaining the characteristic elements of the past. The premises, which were originally stables, barns, sheds for agricultural equipment, and farmers' dwellings, have been carefully transformed into the comfortable rooms of the agriturismo. The structure has been readapted using elements compatible with the territory. The rooms (7 with private bathroom for a total of 18 beds) are furnished with arte povera furniture in typical regional taste. The spaces are spacious and cosy, ideal for a relaxing and pleasant stay. All are equipped with LCD television and telephone. At guests' disposal: barbecue, children's playground, wood-burning oven and a pergola for tea or relaxing moments in the open air. Characteristic is the breakfast room, made entirely of stone with an open fireplace, and the tavern with wood-burning oven for evenings of good food and cheerfulness. Outside, there is a large car park and a centuries-old fountain called "Fonte Curatra" because of the miraculous waters attributed to it in the early post-war period for curing allergies and skin diseases. Small and medium-sized animals are accepted with prior authorisation. In keeping with the most ancient traditions of Molise cuisine, La Ginestra offers dishes rich in the fruits of its fields. The restaurant has more than 60 seats and 3 barbecues for enchanting barbecues, La Ginestra's signature dish.
