The farm 'Fattoria Ranaldo' was bought by Mr Rocco Ranaldo in 1962 from Mr and Mrs Caccesi, the largest landowners in the municipality of Paduli. Rocco was born in Serre, where the 'Fattoria Ranaldo' farm winds its way through vineyards and olive groves. After 10 years of hard work in Switzerland, he was finally able to buy the farm, which covers an area of 15 hectares, cultivated mostly with tobacco and cereals. For the past three years, it has been managed by his son Lino, who wanted to turn it into a holiday farm. It currently produces cereals, fodder, and vegetables; the estate also has about 800 olive trees, some of which are beautiful and centuries old. The farm breeds farm animals and horses; customers of the 'Fattoria Ranaldo' therefore have the opportunity to practice horse riding both on the farm and along the routes of the nearby royal sheep-track. Those who travel with their own horses have the possibility of stabling them on the farm. The 'Fattoria Ranaldo' also offers other services, such as trekking with a guide in the surrounding area, camping on the farm, and an equipped area for camper vans. There are also sales outlets on the estate where it is possible to buy extra virgin olive oil, wine of different qualities, Coda di Volpe, Aglianico, Montepulciano, tomatoes and fresh and mature cheeses. The 'Fattoria Ranaldo' holiday farm in Paduli offers, in the catering sector, mostly seasonal dishes prepared with vegetables and products grown on the farm: handmade pappardelle, homemade pizzas and pizzettas, and typical Sannio sweets such as 'chiacchiere', particularly popular as a typical carnival dessert, produced here all year round. Meals are accompanied by fragrant homemade bread and the fine wine produced on the estate. The farm gives the possibility, with prior reservation, to rent the air-conditioned rooms of the restaurant for private parties. Guests who wish to stay overnight at the 'Fattoria Ranaldo' farm can request double and single rooms, and multiple rooms for groups of eight. The accommodations have televisions and are heated. Breakfast is included in the cost of the overnight stay. Guests with smartphones or laptops can take advantage of the wi-fi network for web surfing provided free of charge by the farm.
