The agritourism farm La Sorgente is located near Macchiagodena, a village in the province of Isernia, in the heart of Molise. It is positioned on a natural terrace, from which it is possible to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Matese mountain massif, among historic and naturalistic itineraries. The agritourism has 5 rooms with 14 beds and 4 suites, with an additional 10 beds, furnished in harmony with the style of the farm: wooden ceilings, furnishings and bathrooms cared for in every detail, with independent entrance and a small terrace overlooking the Matese mountain massif. The farm was born from the desire to renovate and enhance a typical dwelling of the Molise rural tradition, originally belonging to local noble families, and takes its name from an ancient water spring that today is part of the estate. The accommodation facility, surrounded by approximately three hectares of land, preserves the rustic flavour of the countryside: expertly renovated while keeping the structural elements intact, it evokes the typical spaces of the simple Molise peasant life. It is equipped with every comfort and service to guarantee a quality product and to meet all the needs of guests, offering the possibility of spending, with the whole family, a stay in unspoiled nature and in the rediscovery of ancient traditions, healthy and genuine foods. The rooms have a capacity of 14 beds distributed across 5 rooms. They offer every solution a visitor could desire: bathrooms with hairdryer and radio, independent heating, TV-SAT, pay TV, telephone, minibar, preferential internet line. The furnishings reflect the typical style of the area with wrought iron beds and arte povera furniture. A wooden structure, annexed to the rustic dwelling, on one floor houses the 4 suites (for a total of 10 beds) equipped with every comfort: bathrooms with hairdryer and radio, air conditioning and independent heating, TV-SAT, pay TV, telephone, minibar, preferential internet line. The furnishings are in harmony with the style of the farm: wooden ceilings, furnishings and bathrooms cared for in every detail, with independent entrance and a small terrace overlooking the Matese mountain massif. The agritourism estate, on the gentle hills of Molise, extends for approximately 20 hectares, cultivated with vegetable gardens, rye and cereals, as well as cherry, pear and apple orchards, from which the farm produces fine jams prepared according to ancient local recipes. All the cultivated products are used by the farm for the preparation of the daily menu and for the production of artisan products such as jams, preserves, products in oil, sweets and liqueurs, which can also be purchased on site. A pig, cattle and sheep farm also constitutes a fundamental resource of quality and genuineness for the artisan production of typical Molise cured meats.
