The farm is located in lower Molise on the border between the municipalities of Tavenna, Montenero di Bisaccia and Palata, in the Peticone district, where there is a spring water source from which our farm takes its name. The company's mainly olive and cereal growing vocation stems from our family's century-long experience in the agricultural sector and therefore from our passion for our land and the genuineness of its products. In 2010 we decided to transform this enchanting masseria into a charming bed & breakfast, through which we can share with our guests the priceless tranquillity and serenity of these places. The farmhouse guarantees its guests an unforgettable food and wine experience, thanks to tastings and themed activities dedicated to the authentic flavours of the rural tradition. Immersed in the heart of the Molise countryside, our farm also allows adults and children to have direct contact with nature and the farm animals: Pietro the horse, our little goats Bea, Bartolo and Berenice and then the ducks, rabbits and chickens. There are 2 very spacious rooms that overlook a large terrace with a view of the surrounding countryside and oak forest, and a mini flat. The "Girasole" room has 4 beds, distributed between a bunk bed and a double bed, all made of wrought iron and handcrafted by the owners. The 'Melograno' room, on the other hand, has a large four-poster bed and a single bed, also made of wrought iron. The mini-apartment consists of 3 rooms: a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, table and a beautiful stone fireplace; a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed; a bathroom with shower. It ends on a small porch with a view of the pretty 'piazzetta dell'Ulivo'. All the rooms also have an independent bathroom with shower, air conditioning and satellite TV. The farmhouse also provides all guests with a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room, a place for meeting and conviviality on gloomy days, which will be warmed by the majestic stone fireplace or the wood-burning oven, which will be ready to churn out bread, pizzas and other fragrant delicacies on request. On summer days, guests can take refreshment in the courtyards or arcades surrounding the farmhouse or sunbathe on the large sun terrace equipped with sun loungers and parasols, pampered by the peace and hospitality of the Molise countryside. You can choose your accommodation in bed & breakfast, half board or full board.

Recommends this property Abbiamo soggiornato all'agriturismo Fontefredda durante le vacanze pasquali e siamo stati rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dell'accoglienza e dell'ospitalità molisana. I fratelli Zara e le loro famiglie sono dei padroni di casa squisiti e molto simpatici. Le camere erano pulitissime e il pranzo di Pasqua e Pasquetta è stato ottimo e abbondante (forse anche troppo). Un'oasi di pace immersa in aperta campagna, dove è facile rievocare sapori e profumi di altri tempi.
