Description La Macciona

La Macciona farm is situated in the middle of green countryside in Gallura, about 4 km (2.5 miles) from Aglientu and about 8 km (5 miles) from the sea. An old stazzo has been completely restored, so that nine holiday apartments in four separate but connected houses are available on the organically certified farm. The four houses lie on a hill in grounds that are about 30 hectares (72 acres) in size. From some parts of the site there is a spectacular panorama including a sea view – in clear weather it is possible to see Corsica with the naked eye. The incomparable charm of La Macciona includes taking meals in the shade of an ancient cork oak and its surroundings of delightful Mediterranean woods. A little lake that was built to irrigate the fields and a wonderful view of the nearby meadows and the rocky hills of the neighbourhood are further enchanting features of the site.For all those who love riding, six Anglo-Arabian-Sardinian thoroughbreds are available. Not only experienced riders, but also children and beginners can take part in delightful excursions on beautiful paths that lead through Mediterranean woods and bush to the coast, where there are long sandy beaches and little bays enclosed by granite rocks.The broadest beach is Vignola, which has 3 km (2 miles) of sand and is overlooked by the 18th-century tower of the same name. Rena Majore beach is also nearby.

	Abbiamo passato in famiglia 10 giorni in agosto nell'agriturismo la macciona. Un posto che rappresenta e rispecchia (come mi diceva Davide il proprietario) il vero stazzo gallurese. Abbiamo potuto usufruire di ampi spazi con i bambini nel boschetto dove ci sono amache ed un bellissimo dondolo. Fantastico poter andare a raccogliere le verdure, ma anche vedere molti animali, tra cui 6 bellissimi cavalli. Ci siamo rilassati e divertiti. Le spiaggie sono super. (Excellent)

	Siamo stati benissimo in questo magnifico posto. Vicini al mare ma allo stesso tempo fuori dal caos estivo. La qualità del sonno è ottima. Abbiamo gradito il fatto di poter andare all'orto e raccogliere a nostro piacimento le ottime verdure. Consigliato a chi si vuol riposare dallo stress cittadino. Forse torneremo. (Excellent)

	siamo stati benissimo..... i bambini hanno avuto tanto spazio per giocare sotto gli alberi, nelle altalene, nel dondolo e in piscina, oltre ad aver visto da vicino il parto di un maiale....non nego che neanche io e mia moglie non avevamo mai visto una cosa del genere.. bellissima esperienza (Excellent)
