Within the Casalgismondo Organic Agrozootechnical Farm, there is the brand new agriturismo, which with its ten apartments equipped with all comforts, offers you the pleasure of spending a wonderful holiday in harmony with nature in the enchanting landscape of the Enna countryside. Each apartment has an independent entrance and features a fully equipped kitchenette, satellite television, air conditioning and heating. Our guests will have the opportunity to witness the various agricultural and zootechnical activities of the farm, such as sheep milking and milk processing using strictly artisanal techniques, through which exquisite dairy products are obtained, such as piacentinu ennese, Sicilian pecorino D.O.P. and ricotta. It is also possible to walk along a path that leads to a small and enchanting lake located in the northern part of the farm. Agriturismo Casalgismondo is a good starting point for visiting eastern Sicily. The Province of Enna is full of hidden treasures to visit. The city of Piazza Armerina and the archaeological sites of the Villa del Casale and Morgantina are just one example of the ancient history rich in art and culture that its territory holds. Catania and the eastern coast of Sicily are one hour away by car, and Taormina and Syracuse can also be reached in a day trip. By reservation, in our restaurant hall with 60 seats, you can taste all our products along with dishes from traditional Sicilian cuisine such as parmigiana di melanzane, caponata, macco di fave, delicious vegetable frittate, roast lamb and the exquisite local desserts. Furthermore, in 2007 the farm was accredited as an educational farm with a small zoo of native animals, nature trails and taste workshops.
