Borgo Furma was born from 5 houses built during the fascist era for miners of Floristella and Grottacalda, left empty when sulfur lost its value to petroleum. Since 2019, the agritourism managers have restored them from scratch, using the same materials and design as back then, and since June 2, 2022, the village welcomes guests once again. Inside, modern comforts; outside, stone and wood as in times past.
The rooms overlook the hills of the Enna province. In the kitchen, everything is prepared on-site with genuine ingredients: what arrives on your plate they make themselves, not sourced from an external supplier. You can book for one night or stay longer, or simply come to dine.
Around the property, open spaces where children can move freely. The area is an excellent base for those wanting to explore inland Sicily: many of the nearby places remain unknown to most tourists, yet they are worth the detour. Guests are welcomed with an espresso, before even discussing rooms or bills.
