Within the archaeological area of Piazza Armerina, home to the remains of the majestic Roman Villa and the excavations of Morgantina, the Savoca estate blends into the wonders of the landscape, becoming a magnificent lush glimpse painted with the typical colors of the Sicilian countryside. The ancient and imposing nineteenth-century farmhouse, which forms the focal point of the property, offers stylishly furnished, welcoming and evocative surroundings. The independent rooms are located a short distance from the farmhouse and overlook a delightful poplar grove. This grove, during the summer, becomes an area dedicated to convivial celebrations. The Savoca agriturismo also offers ample camping space. The Savoca estate provides a wide range of services: a pool fed by sulphurous water, an area set up for archery, paths through the poplar grove for hiking or horse riding, also accessible by bicycle. In addition, the estate offers the possibility of hosting meetings and conferences. The agriturismo organizes typical Sicilian cooking courses that retrace the typical and traditional peasant recipes. And furthermore: a camping area, a bocce court, areas dedicated to the gathering of typical products (mushrooms, wild berries, asparagus and wild fennel) and a stunning spring of pure water. With us you will find entertainment for young and old alike, including with animals, such as our numerous peacocks which, roaming freely throughout the entire estate, almost act as if they own the place. Within the property, welcoming and functional rooms are available, equipped with bathroom and kitchen, furnished with period-style furniture and capable of accommodating a total of thirty people. The rooms overlook a delightful poplar grove and contribute to giving a evocative character to your stay. The farm makes available its agricultural products including wine and oil that are strictly of organic origin, controlled farm products such as chickens, eggs and milk, as well as specialties such as the house liqueurs (limoncello, fennel liqueur, walnut liqueur, rosolio and others).
