Pixner-Hof is a farm in Scena, above Merano, where they raise Grauvieh cattle and sheep. They manage two apartments: Margherita of 44 square meters for 2-5 people with views over Merano and Passiria (from 70 euros per day), and Löwenzahn of 33 square meters for 2 people with mountain views (from 55 euros). Both feature equipped kitchens, heating, panoramic balconies and access to the farm's meadows. Final cleaning and Wi-Fi connection are included.
Guests arriving by train benefit from a complimentary pick-up service from Merano station. Once a week, the owners lead guests on hiking excursions, tailored to the season and fitness level. During the walks they share the area's history and share a picnic together. They also suggest routes for those wishing to explore without a car. The farm offers homemade products: fruit jams, elderflower and mint syrups, compotes, marinated vegetables and herbal salts.
