Agriturismo San Bastiano is located in Buti, on the slopes of Monte Serra in the Pisan hinterland, a favourable position for reaching the main Tuscan cities of art, Florence is about 50 km away. Lucca just 20 and Pisa no more than 30. The valley of Buti is renowned for its oil, also mentioned by Carducci in his poem "Il Faida di Comune". The centre of the town, which can also be reached on foot, is about 600 metres away and is a typical example of a medieval village with Castel Tonini dominating the main square; within its walls is the splendid 16th-century Villa Medicea. The entire village will amaze you with the many characteristic corners it offers, starting from the Francesco di Bartolo theatre and ending at the Church of the Ascension of Romanesque origin, passing through various alleys and streets that connect the six churches present, in addition to the main one. The San Bastiano farmhouse is located in a dominant position over the valley, immersed in the characteristic olive groves made of crags. It offers its guests a structure that has just been restored respecting the criteria and original materials of 19th century Tuscan farmhouses. The property has two separate flats with independent entrances, the smaller one called ''La sorgente'' can comfortably accommodate 4-5 persons, the other called ''I Limoni'' has 3 rooms for a total of 6-7 beds, two bathrooms, one of which has a hydromassage shower, a large living and dining room with fireplace and separate kitchen. Guests can use the swimming pool located in a panoramic area (open from May to October thanks to its favourable position) and its solarium. In addition to the products from the family vegetable garden, the agriturismo offers the possibility of purchasing oil, wine, jams, honey, and cheeses of its own production or selected by us from farms in the area.
