Here you can taste the typical dishes of the traditional Tuscan cuisine, as Maltagliati Ragout of Duck, the Pici with Tuscan meat sauce, the fried rabbit, the hen boiled with mayonnaise handmade, the fowl Imperial Rabbit Porchetta, the roast capon soup from mushrooms and croutons.
Do not forget to order the "Platter of antipasti" with seasonal specialties such as pappa col pomodoro our own, and the Giardiniera of Vegetables.

Lajatico is located half way between Pontedera and Volterra and 1 hour drive from the major cities of art: Siena, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno. Just 20km Volterra is important Etruscan city famous for Alabaster. At 35km there S.Gimignano important historical center with its towers. Just 800m from the farm is the Theatre of Silence, where he performs in concert every year our countryman Andrea Bocelli.
