La leopoldina is built in mellow stone and sits on a picturesque sunny hillside between montaione and castelfiorentino from where there are fantastic 360° views over the surrounding countryside. The farmhouse is approached up a private country lane (just 800 metres long). The villages of montaione and castelfiorentino are both approximately 4 km away and offer a good choice of supermarkets, restaurants, banks, post office, a variety of shops and a market. We are well placed to visit all the famous sights in central tuscany. San gimignano, volterra, florence, siena, pisa are all within easy driving distance. Outside, the farmhouse is surrounded by a large grassy garden of approximately 8000m² with shrubs and olive trees. There is a beautiful swimming pool (15m x 7m, depth 1. 20m - 1. 80m) in the grounds for shared use with comfortable poolside furniture. A short stroll away from the house there is a large terrace for shared use equipped with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. Barbecue and pizza oven for shared use. Each apartment has a lovely sitting/dining room with sofa bed, fireplace and satellite tv. Small open plan mode kitchen with 2 gas rings, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. Small service bathroom with wc and basin. Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the first floor where you will find a beautiful en-suite twin room. On request the twin beds can be made up as a double bed - please indicate at time of booking. The good mode bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet, wc. On the second floor there is picturesque en-suite double bedroom with a green iron bath. Separate bathroom with basin, bidet and wc. Covered terrace for outdoor eating with garden furniture. Notes: there is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and iron board for shared use.
