The Corti family has been welcoming guests to Poggio al Chiuso since 1995. We have always offered our customers not only a vacation but a true experience of life in Tuscany, with the warmth, passion and attention that only a family management can offer. In addition to relaxing the garden and the pool, guests can taste our wines and our oil and use the vegetables from our garden free of charge.
'Poggio al Chiuso' is a farmhouse with pool in Tuscany, which stands in the heart of the Chianti countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is not far from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, a beautiful little town with restaurants, banks, shops and everything else you might need. The house has been recently renovated, with delightfully finished interiors, in keeping with its original Tuscan style. The four apartments are roomy and comfortable, furnished in traditional Tuscan style, each one with independently regulated heating. On the ground floor there is a big room with a fireplace, telephone and free wi-fi internet point for all our guests. By request you can use our 'Cucinone' (extra large kitchen) for group dinners and Tuscan cooking courses. Behind the house lies the swimming pool (12x6 metres), surrounded by a large garden, an ideal place for relaxing. 'Poggio al Chiuso' farmhouse is situated halfway between Florence and Siena: the perfect location for discovering Tuscany and all its naturalistic and artistic treasures, either by bike, on foot or by car. On our farm you can taste wine, olive oil, vinsanto and grappa, all the products that our family has been making since 1971. During their stay guests can enjoy the organic vegetables produced by ourselves.

Poggio al Chiuso is located in a very strategic position to visit the main historic cities of Tuscany. Florence and Siena and San Gimignano 30 minutes away, Volterra 45 minutes, Pisa 1 hour and the Chianti Classico area 20 minutes away. Also nearby there are very fascinating and little known places by mass tourism that we will be happy to let you discover with suggestions for small day trips to do. For bicycle lovers the roads of our countryside are wonderful.
