Once centre of the rural life, the old building next to the villa now houses Corte Spinosa.   The farm accommodation offers a charming background that was originally destined to the agricultural activity but that now shows clear signs of the history, culture and tradition of the area. It is an opportunity for those interested in a relaxing holiday in close contact with nature and countryside life. Within this courtyard, Casa 12, which was once home to the sharecroppers, has now been fully renovated. It is open all year round and sleeps a maximum of 6 people.   The entrance and kitchen are located on the ground floor of this 3-levels building. The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery and pans. The old stone fireplace in the kitchen stresses the rural atmosphere that surrounds Casa 12. The bathroom, with shower, is located on the first floor whilst the 4 bedrooms (2 double and 2 single) are located in the completely renovated attic. All rooms are furnished with a rustic touch. Casa 12 is equipped with central heating and air-conditioning and the farm court provides parking for guests.   From Corte Spinosa guests may explore the area going through the vineyards, cherry plantations and olive groves. Visitors may reach the pretty town of Negrar by foot in only 5 minutes and the breath-taking city of Verona is only 13 kms away whilst Lake Garda is a 20km drive away.   Both the city’s railway station Verona Porta Nuova (12 kms) and Valerio Catullo airport (20kms) are linked to Negrar by regular bus services or taxi. Corte Spinosa is therefore an ideal location for those who want to spend a holiday, or a weekend, in the Valpolicella Classica countryside visiting the wine cellars, tasting wines and experience the various stages of wine making at first hand.
