Authentic experience for children, families and schools
This educational farm welcomes children, families and schools to discover the rural world: meeting the animals, harvesting in the vegetable garden, local products and hands-on workshops. Contact us for schedules, prices and to organise school trips or farm birthday parties.
Located in Padova, just minutes from the city centre, Verdecielo is a family-run agricultural business now in its third generation. The rooms are named Fico, Ulivo, Melograno and Vite. Lorenzo manages the hospitality, explaining to guests how to reach the Colli Euganei or Venice and generously sharing maps of the area.
The kitchen uses only what is grown on the farm: stone-ground flour, homemade preserves, eggs from free-range hens, sauces and biscuits all made on-site. Breakfast features fresh figs and homemade jams. On Sundays, breakfast service is not available, or can be ordered to take away only.
There is a garden surrounding the house, open to guests, and ample parking. The structure is newly built, with modern furnishings and air conditioning in the rooms.
Beyond accommodation, Verdecielo operates as an educational farm: workshops and activities designed for families with children, plus spaces for private events.
