In Rovolon, on the northern slopes of the Colli Euganei hills, the Frassanelle estate was a nineteenth-century holding of the Papafava dei Carraresi counts. Padua is 20 kilometres away. The park, designed in the 1800s, preserves romantic grottos and an 18-hole golf course set among rolling meadows. For accommodation, there are three villas – Tempietto, Lieta, and Bencontenta – and six apartments in the historic farmhouses and cottages of the complex, with a swimming pool at guests' disposal. The stone courtyards, grottos, and grand staircase host civil or symbolic wedding ceremonies. Throughout the year, the estate organises public events: grape pressing in September, the water festival on Ferragosto, and classical music evenings at the villa.
