The farm is only 3 kms from the famous beaches of Bibione and Lignano Sabbiadoro, on the north-easte coast of the Adriatic Sea. The farm, partly reclaimed at the beginning of the century, presents an age-old history. In the first decades of the century, some families of farmers were given a prize for their loyalty: for over 450 years, they ahd been working at the service of the Toniatti Giacometti family. The agricultural activity of the farm is various, characterized by cultivations fit to be sown, cultivation of pears and vineyards. The grapes produced in the farm are turned into wine in the farm's cellar, which boasts an over-four-century-long tradition, and gives life to a high quality wine production. Race-horse-breeding is what makes the farm internationally known. The high level of the stud-mare-breeding, thanks to a constant and clearly definded selection, is the starting point for the production of colts, which race in all the european racecourses. The great outcome leads to the export of the seed of the best stallions of the stud. The horses are free to graze on almost 100 hectares of land. All this allows the farm to offer its guests an uncomparable and unique scenery of old times, when agriculture meant also environmental protection and respect.
11 Apartments: On the ground floor there are three apartments: - two of these (Re dei Jet and Ata Star L) are equipped for disabled guests, one of which is a one-bedroom with a small living area with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom; the other is a studio apartment; the third apartment (Park Avenue Joe) is a two-bedroom. On the first floor: - three "converted barn" apartments (Kramer Boy, Ken Warkentin, Legendary Lover K) feature a kitchenette and spacious living room with sofa bed and mezzanine with double bed and bathroom; - three other apartments (Zambesi Flash, Crown's Invitation, Naglo) are all two-bedroom units with spacious living room and kitchenette (optional sofa bed), bathroom and bedroom with double bed. On the second floor: - two attic apartments (Pine Chip, Supergill) are spacious studios capable of accommodating up to four or five people.

"Casa Gioconda" is situated halfway between the regal Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Trieste, it is the ideal starting point for interesting excursions to places of great historical interest. Indeed, just tens of kilometres away stands the archaeological site of Aquileia, rich in Roman references (forum, Basilica, port, sacred way, museum) known in particular for the variety and good state of preservation of the mosaics. Also of Roman origin and with equally important vestiges, Concordia Sagittaria and Cividale del Friuli, the ancient Lombard capital, famous for the little temple and the altar of Duke Ratchis, are visitable with brief excursions. Another place to visit is the sixteenth-century Palmanova, the famous star-shaped city known as a stronghold and bulwark in defence against Turkish invasion. Udine, cultural capital of the small Friulian homeland, and the sumptuous Villa Manin of Passariano, country residence of the last Doge of Venice, should not be forgotten.
