Description Pietrantica

To live a unique experience in the heart of the Majella National Park in contact with nature, taste and ancient traditions. Agriturismo Pietrantica, run by Camillo and Marisa Sanelli and their grandfather Paolino, is located in Decontra, a tiny village at 900 metres above sea level in the heart of the Majella National Park. The complex was created from some old barns that have been skilfully renovated with absolute respect for the original materials and building techniques: Majella stone, wood and terracotta. Ours is an organic farm that has been promoting a local development project oriented towards sustainability since 2000, in the Majella National Park. It is currently certified by the international organisation PAN PARKS, with which it collaborates for the development of responsible tourism. The interiors, renovated respecting the original architecture, offer six rooms with bathroom and two small flats with kitchenette and fireplace, all completely autonomous. All the comfortable and cosy spaces are furnished in an original and different way and equipped with heating. Living on a farm is a bewitching experience that touches the guest's sensitive soul. We want to share with you the history and traditions of these places so that you can take home an indelible memory of this area.
