In the heart of the strong and gentle Abruzzo, in Farindola, a shy and secluded village clinging to the foot of a majestic mountain, rises, far from the crowds, chaos and prying eyes, Altrocanto, a dream that has been nurtured for a long time and finally realised with care and attention, to give a solid roof to our desire for hospitality and cordiality. A place of idleness, of rediscovered time, of reading, of rediscovering flavours, but also a starting point for joyful outings, busy visits, silent pilgrimages. Zero-kilometre catering with seasonal products and wines strictly from Abruzzo and preferably organic; the only non-Abruzzo products are those supplied by Fair Trade and Libera Terra (organic production on land confiscated from the mafia). Our menu can vary in whole or in part on a daily basis depending on the availability of products. It is limited to dishes prepared on the day and always features both meat and vegetarian dishes. In a cosy and quiet environment we can accommodate a maximum of 30 patrons. Breakfast of homemade cakes and jams is offered from 8 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. In a well-kept and comfortable environment with eclectic furnishings, we offer 5 rooms with private bathrooms, one of which is equipped to accommodate disabled guests. At our guests' disposal, in addition to the garden, various reading corners, a room with a fireplace, a rich library with a book-crossing section, wi-fi coverage of the entire facility, tea and coffee at will. Possibility of organising a transport service to and from Pescara airport and train station.
