Locanda del Picchio is made for those who like to spend a relaxing holiday in the midst of the Abruzzo countryside, not far from the sea, with a marvellous panorama view on the sea as well as on the mountains. The location has an own restaurant with vegetable garden, 3 large rooms and 5 tastefully furnished apartments with all comfort.
The structure is equipped with an external space of approximately 7000 sqm, with olive trees and fruit plants, which also hosts a vast swimming pool of 90 sqm. The swimming pool, immersed in the greenery with a wonderful view of the hilly landscape up to the sea, has a depth of 1.40 mt. and a portion of the same swimming pool is reserved only for the youngest: there is indeed a shallow part 40 cm high where children can play peacefully.
Locanda del Picchio lies in the midst of the beautiful green countryside of Abruzzo in the borough of Morro D’Oro. Only a few kilometers away there are the beautiful and well equipped sandy beaches of Pineto and Roseto degli Abruzzi and it’s only a 30 minutes’ drive to get to the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga. The Abruzzo landscape is determined by the sea, by hills and mountains. A beautiful region to be discovered, a place where people still take their time.
