Description Terre Rosse Di Massadita

At 537 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Monte Calimaro, in Contrada Massadita di sopra: from here, the view extends all the way down to the Gulf of Policastro. We are on the Calabrian side of Pollino National Park, halfway between Aieta and Tortora.

The rooms are housed in three buildings that were once part of the farmstead: a farmhouse, a hay barn, and a stable. The property still raises traditional farm animals—poultry, goats, sheep, and pigs—allowed to grow at their own natural pace.

The beaches of the Upper Tyrrhenian Coast—Scalea, San Nicola Arcella, Praia a Mare, Tortora—are all within 20 km. Maratea is nearby too. Closer still are the Lao River with the Riparo del Romito, Laino Borgo, and Laino Castello.

For a different perspective on the sea, you can set sail on a boat with Massadita Sport Touring ASD for a tour along the caves of the Tyrrhenian coast. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available.

The restaurant occupies a terrace at 537 meters altitude between Aieta and Tortora, with the Gulf of Policastro visible from your table. There are no complicated menus: what arrives on your plate depends on what the farm and livestock are producing at that moment, season after season.

Una famiglia meravigliosa che vive in armonia con la natura, in un luogo incantevole tra le montagne, da dove si possono ammirare tramonti mozzafiato. La famiglia si dedica con grande passione e cura alla cura dei propri ospiti. Un ringraziamento speciale a Sonia, che ha preparato una cena davvero squisita e ci ha raccontato della fattoria, dove vengono allevati diversi animali domestici. Cena deliziosa, sonno ristoratore e una famiglia che permette a tutti di riscoprire le proprie radici. Lo consiglio a tutti.
