The agriturismo A Sena Runcatini is family-run. The farm consists of 29 hectares, located in the municipality of Ciminà, between the Condojanni fiumara and the village, at the gateway to the Aspromonte National Park and 10 km from the splendid Ionian Sea. The name of the farm was chosen from the localities where it is situated: Runcatini and 'A Sena. RUNCATINI takes its name from the area where small wood was 'runcated' with a small agricultural tool (runca) to obtain the bundles of sticks useful for the stone oven. The accommodation facility has been recovered in an ancient seventeenth-century farmhouse recently restored and surrounded by a lush garden with an adjoining swimming pool and playing fields. It has 22 beds: 4 double rooms (third bed on request) 3 double rooms 1 quadruple room Room amenities: Air conditioning, mini bar fridge, bathroom facilities, linen, mosquito nets. An essential feature of our facility is the agriturismo restaurant open both to passing guests and to those staying overnight. What was once the ancient oil mill of the farm is today a large dining room with a fireplace (very evocative in the winter period to watch the wood burning and crackling); where you will fully savour the culinary dishes of the Geracese-Ciminese tradition prepared by Stefania.
