Welcome to Podere Prasiano, a gorgeous organic agriturismo near Modena and Bologna, in the rolling hills between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany! The best way to discover a new place is to share the life of local hosts, passionate for their wonderful landscape of hills, forests and rivers, the historic and cultural places and of course the famous traditional food of Emilia-Romagna. Services Farm-house

Wine Tasting Our guests may book a private wine tasting, including a guided tour of our own vineyards with our inhouse sommelier Massimo, who enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion about local and Emilian wines. Podere Prasiano is currently producing only organic red wines from merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes and a dessert wine with a mix of our sour cherries and merlot. We are happy to offer 2 different wine experiences to our guests. The wine tasting takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 20:00, minimum of 4 participants - Weather permitting it will be organized in our wonderful garden with a view.

We are not offering a full restaurant service. However, in case you prefer to stay at our place for lunch or dinner time to enjoy the garden, the pool and the sunset, there are a few options available as described in the page "Food & Drinks" on our own website. Alternatively, there are several restaurants and pizzerie at a short distance from our agriturismo that we can recommend and book for you.

Breakfast

Our brunch style breakfast is prepared only with local or homemade organic products and served at the table. It's prepared daily with fruit, jams and juices from our own organic production, excellent home-baked cakes, and the gastronomic specialties of the Emilian Apennines such as Modena DOP ham, salami, other pork cold cuts and local tasty butter, yogurt, cheeses and honey. Weather permitting, breakfast is served in our beautiful garden.

You will not find crowded and expensive tourist destinations but little known and beautiful cities, charming villages and smiling people along the way. You will be stunned by the simple beauty of antique stone houses & towers, Romanesque churches and well-preserved castles. Emilia Romagna is also famous for the quality of its simple yet delicious food! That's why it is also called the "Belly of Italy"! Podere Prasiano is not only the perfect starting point to explore Emilia Romagna, but also to visit some of the most famous Italian places, in a radius of just 2 hours' drive: Lago di Garda, Milano, Venezia, Verona, Padova, Mantova, Vicenza, Firenze, Lucca, Pisa, etc.
