The agriturismo "Canovetta del Vento", an organic farm, extends over approximately 17 and a half hectares on the hills overlooking the Savena valley, surrounded by the greenery of the countryside, at approximately 300 m altitude, in the Municipality of Pianoro a few km from Bologna. "Canovetta del Vento" is an ancient farmhouse within the property of the same name that has undergone numerous transformations over time. The main structure in layered masonry (pebble and stone) has been restored, after careful and respectful renovation, maintaining the original two-story structure unchanged and with particular attention to the research of the materials used, such as lime for the grouting, terracotta for the floors and exposed wooden beams for some ceilings. In the ancient farmhouse, 5 rooms with private bathrooms have been created (1 single and 4 double) of which one on the ground floor is accessible to people with mobility difficulties. All the rooms have been carefully furnished with antique iron beds and wooden furniture in rustic style, in harmony with the building. Each of them has been given the name of a flower that grows on our land: Papavero, Margherita, Lavanda, Girasole and Lillà.
