In Pianoro, on the Apennines near Bologna along the Futa road towards Florence, Pizzicalaluna is a converted farmhouse dedicated to wellness. Accessible by car only, 16 km from Bologna. The rooms are named Orchidea Selvatica, Malvarosa, Fiore d'Angelo, plus the Melograno and Rosa Spina apartments. Outside, an organic garden and a swimming pool with views over the hills; nearby is the Bosco della Memoria. The kitchen is for the managers' use, but buffet breakfast is included in the stay.
