Built with the sacrifices of Aldo and Linda in 1948 and known as 'La Bottega di Liano', the osteria was a peaceful place of refreshment for the inhabitants of this small hamlet in the municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme, on the cool, sunny Bolognese hills. Over the years, their son Cesare and daughter-in-law Vilma continued the family management and the traditional home cooking of Emilia Romagna, bringing the osteria to the present day with the support of their sons Marco and Alessandro. The Osteria da Cesare & Locanda has endeavoured to maintain, by renovating it, a welcoming environment where one can spend carefree hours in front of genuine food and wine. The Locanda's 'Room & Breakfast' service is available to guests for a relaxing stay just a few kilometres from the thermal baths, Bologna, trade fairs, and numerous cultural, regenerating and eno-gastronomic proposals in the surrounding area.
For our gentle Costumers, the INN service 'Room & Breakfast', including five bedrooms and an outside flat. Double beds can be turned into single beds. The halls, rooms and the flat are equipped with air conditioning, cable internet connection and WI-FI, TV, telephone, minibar, safe deposit box (for laptops too), hair dryer, complimentary toiletries. Balcony or terrace for each room. Rooms are available from 4.00 pm and must be vacated by 12.00 am. Meeting room.
