The Farm Holiday "Rio Manzolo" is situated in the low hills of Romagna along the river Senio valley. The ancient proprietary double court building, belonging to the storic family Rondinini, derives its name Rio Manzolo from the brook rising beside it, once, probably for cattle farming.The house was built in medieval age and then it was rebuilt in 17th century with a small church near it dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrow. The farm is managed by Anna and Alberto and produces fruits, vegetables and grapes. Visitors can taste fresh fruits, conserves and wines, like "Sangiovese di Romagna" and "Trebbiano di Romagna". Guests can find accomodation in elegant and confortable rooms with bathroom, in an ancient and charming atmosphere, discovering the preserved details of the ancient building. All around you have a sweet and pleasant hilly countriside, a mix of cultivated, woods, ravines, genistas and ancient medieval watch towers.

The farm holiday Rio Manzolo offers a comfortable and relaxing accommodation in the peace of the country in an authentic rural atmosphere and in harmony with nature and environment. The farm offers four rooms with bathrooms and air conditioning, for a total of 14 beds. There is also an apartment with 2 bedrooms (for a total of 5 bed places), with two bathrooms, kitchen/living room and air conditioning.

Services Farm-house

Service includes: bed linen and towels, TV on demand, cooking facilities, wide living room with an ancient fireplace. Save different agreement, breakfast is included . Downstairs a meeting room with bathroom is available for parties. Outdoor near the garden there is a wide free barbecue area. A little church belonging to the building is available for ceremonies. The relaxation area includes a sunny swimming pool with beach volleyball court, gazebo with table football and table tennis.

The friendliness you find in people can also be found in landscapes, where nature and cultivated land complement each other in harmony. The hills of Romagna near Faenza, Brisighella and Riolo Terme are very fascinating for several elements, such as ravines sprangled of Genistas, Tamerisks, Umbrella Pines and Cypresses. Along the mountain in the background you can visit the biggest site of chalk rocks (selenites) in Europe with a natural environment rich of rare plants and karst caves.
Starting from Rio Manzolo in a short time you can visit several interesting places: Faenza - Riolo Terme - Casola Valsenio - Imola - Ravenna - Florence
