CASA SHANGRI - LA, agrituristic complex with sport facilities, was bo at the beginning of 90’s from a careful renovation of an ancient manor owned by Cantarutti Family, one of the old and memorable families of the Friulian wine-history. The aim was to create a place where the guest can feel protected, comfortable and above all rediscover the simple pleasures which are fading in mode times: spontaneous flowers which hue our fields, the dew which waters our vineyards’ leaves, the sunsets which gift us warm and relaxing colours or the funny chickens in the roost. The recovery operations interested not only the manor, but the surrounding area too; the old courtyard, in respect of the ancient mulberries, became a wide shady garden with a swimming-pool and the tennis-courts and a riding school in the more quite area, both out and indoor. The agrituristic centre is located in the heart of the countryside, at the feet of the Colli Orientali del Friuli area, a geographic zone which is highly learned in the production of wines. Halfway between Udine and Gorizia, it is easy to reach and only a few Kilometres far from Trieste Airport and from the Highway Palmanova exit. Great for your holidays and your intimate relaxing or sporting weekends or simply for taking a stroll through the vineyards, this is the perfect solution also for people who wish to end the day in a familiar and warm atmosphere.
