The property dates back as far as the 1600s to the family of Maria Teresa Calligaris, mother of Giovanni Foffani, now the sole owner and tenant of the winery, which has been producing wine since 1789. The manor house, in the square of the medieval village of Clauiano, a recognised example of pre-Venetian architecture in Friuli, continues with the agricultural outbuildings and the park towards the vineyard in the countryside behind. Immersed in the greenery of the park, two double rooms with bathroom have been created in the old manor house, available individually or together with a small kitchen, thus forming a small flat. On the ground floor, breakfast is served in a room with a window overlooking the garden. A relaxing moment in Clauiano, located in the centre of eastern Friuli, an excellent starting point for excursions to the countryside, the sea, the mountains and even Venice.
Two nice, bright rooms looking on to the garden and on the roofs of the old village. For long stays also a private kitchen is available.
