The "Torre Cristina" Farmhouse, warmly managed by the Peretti Family, is located in Aprilia (LT), in the charming Pianura Pontina, on the slopes of the Castelli Romani and is 40 km from Rome, 25 km from Latina, 10 km from the sea from where possible to reach the Pontine Islands. The Peretti Family settled in the Roman territory from the time of His Holiness Pope Sixtus V (Felice Peretti 1585-1590), coming from the Marche region. Throughout history, titles such as the principality of Incisa and Nomento, the marquisate of Albano and Venafro, the county of Celano, are collected and it is precisely with this part of Abruzzo that commercial relations are intensified. At the end of the 1800s, the Peretti family pours its energies into cattle breeding; in the middle of the last century the transformation towards the agricultural world began with the cultivation of vines, olive trees and orchards; in the first years of this millennium physiologically we arrive at agritourism. Currently the company, of about 150 hectares, produces wines d. o. c., extra virgin olive oil, Latin kiwi d. o. p. and fruit and vegetables. The entire farmhouse is developed within the historic Podere Curzola n ° 2612, built by the Combattenti National Opera in the '30s. The Torre Cristina farmhouse has twelve rooms: 1 single, 10 double / twin, 1 quadruple and you can taste the typical dishes of the peasant art: fabulous gnocchi "Torre Cristina" and the cut of meat, excellent typical pizza baked wood. In the farmyard you can communicate with the poultry and you can walk in the saddle with two cute donkeys: Rosy and Gianfranco!
