Agriturismo Casa del Bosco is located only 16km far away from the sea, between Portofino and the Cinque Terre, in a panoramic position overlooking the green Sturla Valley. The villa is our family house, renovated in 2008 in accordance with its 19th-century origins by restoring the old wooden floors, the exposed beams, the stone walls and by taking care of the furniture in order to recreate the yesteryear’s typical atmosphere and warmth. All the rooms have got private bathroom and wardrobe and, in some cases, even a sitting area or a fireplace. In the garden guests can enjoy both a swimming pool and solarium area, and even a little stream with its waterfalls. On the terrace the property serves a delicious breakfast and, in the evenings, a homely cooking set menu of traditional Ligurian food. The farm is mainly based on the cultivation of olive trees, veggies, medicinal plants, and on the orchard. It uses most of its fruit for producing sorbets, jams and homemade cakes that can be enjoyed during the morning breakfast or can be bought and taken home with you. This is the ideal location for relaxation, for enjoying both the beach and the mountains, and for practising your favourite sports.
Located at the bottom of the Aveto's Natural Park in the Tigullio's hinterland, 17 Km from Chiavari, an ancient coastal town of historical and cultural interest. The Agriturismo Casa del Bosco enjoys a central location to visit Genoa and the Cinque Terre. Beautiful hiking, bike riding and ferryboat trips, horse riding, wild horse watching. Between the highest peaks of Appennino Ligure (ex. Ramaceto mountain, Mount Penna, Monte Zatta, trips to the lakes Giacopiane,and the glacial lakes good for fishing, horse riding and wild horse watching) and the pearls of the coast (ex.:Portofino, Camogli, San Fruttuoso, Sestri Levante).
