Cascina Cornella is located in Cremeno, in Valsassina, along the old road that once carried cheese toward Val Taleggio. The farm was established in 2013 to reclaim an abandoned pasture that had become overgrown with brambles: woodland clearing work continues to this day. The rooms are divided between two structures: two ground-floor bedrooms with independent entrance in the Cascina, and four in the attic of Villa Giò, with two shared bathrooms, ideal for groups.
No pesticides. Marialuisa tends the vegetable garden and the aromatic herbs corner—sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano—and in recent years has also started keeping bees. The chickens roam freely on the ground, wandering through the woodland. In summer, vegetables from the garden are sold: onions, zucchini, squash. Just minutes away are the cable car stations for Piani di Bobbio and Artavaggio.
