Immersed in the hills of San Martino Valley, Agriturismo “Cavallo Grigio” is located at the foot of Mount Albenza. Palazzago is very easy to be reached from Bergamo, Milano and Lecco. The name of the agriturismo refers to the area where it was built, the Land of the Grey Horse. The ancient stone farmhouse has been recently renovated and furnished, according to the local tradition. The restaurant opened in November 2003 and it is specialized in typical dishes of Bergamo. It is ideal to dine with friends or to celebrate special occasions such as birthday, baptism, graduation, anniversary, giubilee and wedding. Rooms are available to spend relaxing holidays. The restaurant is open from Thursday night to Sunday. Our restaurant is located in a picturesque and rural country house, with stone walls and visible wooden beams. The places are about 70. Reservations are recommended. With experience handed down over generations, the farm bases its business on different kinds of breeding and farming. In particular, cattle and stock-breeding, swines, rabbits and poultry farming. Very important is also the vegetables and fruit-tree growing. The products obtained from the farming are used for the preparation of our menu, which changes every week, depending also on the season. Our oak-beamed and stoneworked rooms are furnished with simplicity, according to the local country style. Differing in size, colours and conveniences, they are all provided with their own bathroom, independent heating system and television. Agriturismo “Cavallo Grigio” is the ideal place to spend days far from the city and to relax your mind and body, appreciating the wonderful colours that the nature offers every season.
