The Borgo, purchased by the current ownership in the late 1960s when it was in a state of great decay and abandonment, underwent careful restoration carried out in accordance with the original materials and ancient construction principles: the recovery of wooden floors, the restoration of roof coverings in terracotta tiles, the use of wrought iron for bars and gratings are testimony to a restoration carried out according to the dictates of what is today defined as "bio-architecture". Every year, in the month of May, the rose festival takes place. In the small church of the borgo, consecrated to Saint Rita of Cascia, mass is celebrated, a blessed rose is given to those present, and then there is a celebration with a large buffet to spend a day in merriment.
