The holiday center farm, Il Conventino, is found well out in the country in the Marches of central Italy, a few kilometers from Umbria and in midst of a beautiful area that is rich in tradition and works of art but still very little known by tourists. Il Conventino is part of an organic farm three centuries old and it has always shown the utmost respect for the environment and for tradition in its operations. It is composed of a big stone farmhouse which is divided into three independent apartments, an inn that has four rooms, two with queen-sized beds and two with two single beds and lastly a big living room with a fireplace. What used to be the old hayloft next to the house is now a patio with swimming pool. From the garden a path leads off, taking guests to wander into the nearby valley where they can enjoy the peace and quiet to be found in abundance. The inn has four bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and two with single beds, each with private bath. On request beds for children can be brought in. The rooms are furnished with antiques or furniture pieces made by local artisans. They are on the first floor and overlook a gallery that has a sitting room equipped with satellite tv. On the ground floor a large living room with fireplace is at the guests ' disposal. Breakfast is served in the main room and supper can also be served there, featuring traditional regional dishes made with fresh local products. The Meadow Apartment is on the ground floor and is comprised of a living room, a room with queen-sized bed, a kitchen/dinette combination and a bathroom. The Patio Apartment and the Lake Apartment They are situated on the first floor and overlook a small loggia with a wood-burning oven. They consist of a living room with kitchenette, a room with queen-sized bed, a room with two single beds and bath. A child’s bed can be provided if needed. The three apartments overlook a stunning view which ranges from the Sibillini Peaks to the ducal city of Camerino. All rooms have terracotta floors and wooden ceilings and have been appointed with great attention to detail. The apartments are supplied with bed and bath linens and have fully-equipped kitchens.
