La Camilla is above all a 90-hectare farm where maize, wheat, sugar beets and fodder are cultivated and Friesian dairy cows are raised.The structure of the farm is that of a typical lowland farmstead, entirely surrounded by walls within which are located: the old manor house with its lush garden and chapel; the orchard with cherry, apple, pear, plum and fig trees with the apiary where the beehives are kept; the stables with approximately 100 head of cattle and the farmhouse with the large courtyard, where the farmers' apartments and the agritourism apartments are situated. The La Camilla estate is located in the plain of Marengo, near the site of Napoleon's victorious battle against the Austrians, surrounded by the rivers Tanaro and Bormida and the stream Orba with the Fauna Oasis of the Po and Orba Park. All the farmland is a repopulation area for local wildlife species such as hares, pheasants and partridges.At La Camilla it is possible to stay in four spacious and comfortable apartments. They are all located in the farmyard and have access to the park behind, equipped with a swimming pool and large spaces for play and relaxation; there is also an area suitable for younger children with a slide, swing, sand and a small brick house, "la Camillina", dating from the early 1900s.
