At Rocca Cigliè, in a farmhouse three hundred years old that Jens and Gabi restored five years ago, four independent apartments are available for rent. The property spans almost six hectares: two hundred fruit trees, one hundred fifty hazelnut bushes, and wild berry shrubs. Jens completed specialized courses in Italy to obtain the title of Azienda Agricola, and the cultivation is certified organic.
The apartments are named La Nocciola, La Vite, La Castagna, and La Pesca. La Nocciola is wheelchair accessible, with two beds, one bedroom, a garden with seating areas and a wood stove. La Vite accommodates up to four people across two floors, with a balcony and bathroom plus a second WC. La Castagna sleeps up to six with additional beds, two bedrooms, two levels, and a balcony. La Pesca, designed for families, features an attic bedroom and sleeps two to five people.
Beneath the walnut trees in the garden, enjoy a Barolo while watching the sunset behind Monviso, or a homemade elderflower spritz after a bike ride. There is a badminton court. The trails around the farmhouse are perfect for hiking and cycling excursions, with views of the Alps in the distance. At the farm shop, you can purchase products from the company's organic cultivation. Barolo is just a few kilometers away, surrounded by castles, medieval churches, and the charming villages of the Langhe.
