Masseria Santanna is a rural architectural structure built in 1857 protected.
Surrounded by pastures and olive groves of the Murgia has long been a place of agricultural and livestock production and place of shelter for shepherds and their flocks during transhumance

Our rooms
The farm has preserved its essential structural features: thick stone walls cemented with soil; in the master on the first floor is the paving stone (the chianca) and the compass that points the way to travelers; the old wooden doors, vaulted ceilings, stone walls of the hall on the ground floor (formerly the stables), the mangers on the side walls of the halls, the large fireplace that once had to warm up the entire ground floor.
All rooms are equipped with heating, but you will never find an air-conditioned for the summer heat, because the farm is inside cool in summer due to the thickness of its walls.
Breakfast
Based on local, organic and fair trade, it is prepared to send you all the flavors and smells of our land. You will have breakfast with our jams, milk, tea, coffee, chocolate, tea, fresh fruit, cereals, muesli, bread, biscuits.

With a range of local, biological and fair trade products (coffee, hot chocolate, herbal teas, cereals, muesli, seasonal fruit and rusks) breakfast is prepared to give you a taste of our mother’s and grandmother’s recipes.
Enjoy our home-made jams and Daniela’s home made jam tart. With milk fresh from the dairy, enjoy the local bread. Don’t feel shy about asking for the local cheeses, eggs and salamis.
Masseria Santanna is at the heart of a rich and naturalistic, architectural and artistic area: Murgia, the World Heritage Valle d’Itria famous for its trulli and masseria, nature and marine reserves, and characteristic heritage towns.
Masseria Santanna is but a short drive from the pretty Apulian coast between Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, the “trulli” town Alberobello (UNESCO Heritage), Castellana Grotte with its fabulous underground caves and the woodlands of Selva di Fasano.
On the border between Bari, Brindisi and Taranto provinces, Masseria Santanna is also within driving distance of the marine and nature reserve at Torre Guaceto, “the white city” Ostuni, Martina Franca, the Pianelle wood nature reserve, the baroque town of Lecce, and the “Sassi di Matera”.
