Agriturismo Lama San Giorgio is in the heart of Apulia, just a few kilometres away from the airport, Bari, Alberobello and the suggestive Castel del Monte, in a crossroads of cultural and food and wine traditions that coexist with a rugged and gentle nature. The location is particularly favourable: the Masseria is an excellent starting and arrival point for excursions to Puglia's tourist centres of natural and cultural interest. A splendid 19th-century structure, carefully restored respecting the ancient architecture, it is the ideal place to spend hours of tranquillity, strolling slowly among rows of vines or in the Lama, a characteristic conformation of the land once crossed by a watercourse, in the shade of a grove of oaks, in the midst of Mediterranean vegetation. Part of the Azienda Agricola Scianatico, the Agriturismo Lama San Giorgio cultivates and sells local agricultural products such as table grapes, olives, wines, precious extra virgin olive oil and cherries. Delicious jams and products in oil, as genuine as the ancient peasant recipes, can be enjoyed during your stay, or purchased at the Masseria.
Nine incredibly quiet, welcoming and comfortable rooms are designed to look like the rooms of old farmhouses. They are named after elements of the landscape in Puglia. The antique furniture creates a welcoming environment for guests. All the rooms have a television, bathroom, hair dryer, free wifi, air conditioning, bed linen and towels.

Our farmhouse is an extraordinary starting point for explorations of any kind, whether you're planning a quick getaway or settling in for a longer stay to discover the treasures of Puglia. A warm and comfortable refuge, it welcomes both passing visitors and those seeking to linger in this captivating region. The agriturismo sits in Rutigliano, southeast of Bari, a town rooted in agricultural tradition, nestled in a landscape dotted with vineyards and farming structures. Gently rolling hills shape this countryside, carved on both east and west by two distinctive erosion channels—the lame—which frame the strip of land where this small medieval village has stood for centuries.
