The farm "LAIRE" of Barnabas Francesco & Sons in the early years of the twentieth century, as recalled by the elders of the village Coreggia was a "staging post" for the shelter of travelers and horses that moved from the Ionian Sea to the Adriatic Sea. His position, in fact facilitated the travelers being halfway between Taranto and Monopoly or between Taranto and Conversano.Denominata since the early 900 also "A Torr 'd Coppl' d Fuoch" (the tower of the gentleman with the cap of fire), from the nickname of the owner at the time, has changed owners several times and has undergone over time, several changes in the structure and use of the rooms. The so-called "tower" was composed on the ground floor of admission of horses (now the dining room), the kitchen with fireplace, three bedrooms and a cellar which is accessed from the dining room, in addition to the ba and the ba on the first floor (currently two apartments agritourism). Built with local stone shaped by masters of stone called "trullari", the same people who were building the trulli (typical constructions of Alberobello), includes vaulted ceilings, vaults and cross vaults. The load-bearing walls thick (including 1.20 m), support the vaults, forming the characteristic of this complex. The crossings between the interior of the structure are made with bows, are made in the same way the windows facing outside. The description of places and foods that are cooked allow the knowledge of the whole history of Trulli and the wonderful stone walls which create a unique natural landscape. Nous avions réserver 1 trullo appartement avec 4 chambres pour notre groupe de 6 personnes et au final nous avons été logés âpres discussions dans 2 trulli séparés d'un km au final. Le propriétaire à bien rattraper ce problème par un service à la hauteur. (Good) | |
