In a natural oasis of 50 acres, away from the traffic and chaos of the city, lies the farm The Chiancate. And ' situated in the heart of the Gargano National Park 870 meters from the sea level and is easily accessible from major centers, such as: Vieste about 60 km, San Giovanni Rotondo, 15 Km, 25 Km from Monte Sant'Angelo and our natural lung Umbra Forest about 40 Km We are specialized in nature trails for hikers, offering a variety of routes from the most accessible to the most complex. We also track mountain bike trails, mixed, and especially unusual for amateurs. They could certainly miss the trail rides for which we have designed our sheep tracks and paths of the old mule tracks that were used to transhumance of cattle. And finally, from our farm, we have created about 40 km of off-road routes, to do with terrain that will take your breath away. Our facility can accommodate school groups for educational trips, families in search of adventure and healthy eating, thanks to our organic products at kilometer zero, couples or groups of young people who are looking for exciting adventures, taking advantage of one of the most virgin and unspoiled landscapes of the Gargano
Our hospitality solutions At our facility we offer two types of accommodation, both immersed in greenery and designed for those seeking simplicity, authenticity and direct contact with nature. Essential and comfortable rooms We have 6 spartan but well-furnished rooms, ideal for families, couples or small groups of friends. Each room is equipped with: • private bathroom with shower box • bed and bath linens • shower shampoo (The rooms do not have TV, to offer an experience of total relaxation and detachment from the noise of everyday life.) The rooms are in a panoramic position, approximately 3 km from the main body of the agritourism facility, and are immersed in nature at 850 meters above sea level, in an isolated and quiet setting, with spectacular views of Lake Cagnano Varano and the Tremiti Islands. Our property is nestled in a strategically important location, right at the heart of the Gargano and surrounded by one of the most authentic and unspoiled areas within the National Park. • To the north, you can clearly admire Lake Varano and the Tremiti Islands
• To the south, Monte Calvo rises majestically—the Gargano's highest peak—together with the Montenero plain, one of the region's most biodiverse areas
Our territory holds wonders beneath the surface as well: the presence of limestone rock has created, over time, "grave" (sinkholes), caves and underground tunnels, sculpted by erosion and perfect for geology and speleology enthusiasts.
