The Masseria Tenuta Deserto offers the opportunity to experience a typical Mediterranean enviroment. An ideal place for rest and where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Apulian countryside just a few km from the sea, the beaches of Ostuni, Torre Guaceto WWF protected area and Pennagrossa. The Masseria Tenuta Deserto is also a starting point for visiting the beautiful features towns and places of cultural and architectural heritage. The Masseria Tenuta Deserto is a southe italian estate extended 180 acres of beautiful farm land surrounded by woods of Live Oak, Eucalyptes, Pines and Olive trees. Here, in this warm Mediterranean region, bathed by the sun and cooled by soft sea breezes, you will encounter, located in the center of estate, a lovely Masseria own by the current family since the end of 1700. The Masseria was constructed during successive periods starting from late middle-age (XV century) to mid 1800 includes a Main House, a late middle-age Tower, rural facilities, stables and stores all restored in comfortable and fully equipped houses, a Chapel, a characteristic Trullo, typical house of Puglia, a swimming pool 15x7 m and a swimming pool 6x3 m for children, a Club House where guests can enjoy typical dinners and a Wine Bar where a selection of region 's wines can be tasted. Guests can live in one of 13 houses ranging from Il Melograno, the main and the largest with its airy loggia, to the trullo named L 'Oleandro. The Masseria Tenuta Deserto can provide accommodation for guests in 13 houses, each between 40 and 200 sqm, accommodating between two and eight people. Each house is fully furnished, equipped with mode facilities and has independent access and external space. In each house the original Mediterranean architectural features are present including stone arched ceilings, fireplaces, floors. The park and the swimming pool are easy to access from all of the houses. Prices are stated per week, starting from Saturday, however during the low and mid seasons bookings for both shorter and longer periods are available and prices will be charged proportionally. The rates include: water and electricity consumption, linen (including a weekly change), bath and hand towels and use of the pool.
